that only Board can vote on issues as secretary and treasurer have no voting

Finance Report |
No finance report given due to absence of

Attorney |
Discussion whether attorney should be added
to Board. |
Decision tabled until August meeting. |
Landscaping |
?
New landscaping
firm providing quality service mowing Secrest Short Cut Road frontage and
park. Bush hogging done twice a year currently included in monthly cost.

Concern voiced
regarding foreclosure properties. Contacting mortgage companies was
fruitless. Once grass reaches 18”, City of Monroe will mow and bill
mortgage company. |
Discussion regarding bush hog rental tabled
until August meeting. |
Speed Humps |
Cheryl Cole reported that it would be
necessary to obtain necessary signatures on the petition in next 2 weeks to
allow Barbee Farms grandfather status in approval process. Lengthy
discussion followed regarding necessity of speed humps. |
Due to lack of support from residents to
sign petition, motion made and carried to drop approval process. |
Violations |
Several residents in violation of by-laws
regarding:
?
RVs, unregistered
vehicles, trailers, etc. parked in driveways.
?
broken fences
?
shutters and doors
of different colors |
?
If new resident
unaware of CCRs, Board to get copy to resident ASAP.
?
Two Board members
to make personal visit to discuss issue with resident. If violation
continues, letter noting violation to be mailed. If violation continues
after this letter mailed, certified letter to be sent.

Storage Buildings |
Issue remains unresolved regarding wood and
metal buildings.. |
New petition requiring 75% community
approval to change bylaws and allow wood buildings that can be painted will
be issued. |
