Call to Order

Steve Gileta, President, opened and presided over meeting which began at 7:15 p.m. 

 

Approval of Minutes

July 2002 minutes were read for approval.

Approved

Resignation

Resignation letter from Cheryl Cole accepted by Committee.  

Recommendation made to ask Fred Roberts to serve final year of Mrs. Cole’s term since Mr. Roberts received next highest number of votes at annual election.  Action taken in lieu of another election.

Playground Building

Papers received from the Monroe Fire Department have been signed for controlled burn of the building.  Burning will take place when the City of Monroe is no longer under mandatory water restrictions and air quality is a green ozone day.

Attorney

Contact had been made with an attorney to represent BFHOA.  Attorney stated he would review by-laws, respond to any issue presented in writing, and meet with the Board at a future date at no charge.   Thereafter, his cost to review any issue will be $150.00 per hour.

Decision to meet and accept attorney’s proposal tabled until September meeting.

Storage Buildings

Petition to amend the By-Laws to allow wood storage buildings approved.  Homeowners must paint and maintain building in same color and trim as house.
